Once again 70 High Park is a finalist in the City of Toronto Garden Contest – only this time with a difference.

In keeping with the City’s emphasis on natural environments as well as to reduce cost the Condo Board decided this year to move to a perennial garden. While looking terrific all year round, it is estimated that the perennial beds will also save residents thousands per year.

Feedback has been positive with residents and passers-by frequently stopping to admire the new-look garden as well as congratulate the garden club volunteers who ensured the garden looked its best.

The City of Toronto Award Presentation will take place October 14, 2015.

Following the example of the front garden the Board also commenced planning the rejuvenation of the back garden using low cost alternatives as well as volunteer gardening enthusiasts.
