We are getting into the holiday spirit with our festive pots in front of the building. There will be more outdoor decorating on Friday, November 27 at 4 p.m. If you have a flair for decorating, or just enjoy making our building look festive, come and help us on the 27th.

We will be decorating  the lobby on Saturday, November 28 or Sunday, November 29. The date will depend on which day volunteers prefer to decorate.

Help out with the Open House and Holiday Social on November 30. For more details, visit news/openhouseandholidaysocial-november30.

Please tell Myla if you are interested in helping and which day works best for you.

Lastly, please donate non-perishable food items to this year’s recipient, North York Harvest Food Bank. Their goal is to raise 250,000 lbs of food. You will find the donation box in the lobby. Donations of all non-perishable foods are appreciated. However, some items are essential to those in need, such as:

·         Canned fish and meat

·         Canned vegetables

·         Canned fruit

·         Canned beans and pulses

·         Fruit juices

·         Low sodium instant soups and meals

·         Jars of baby food

·         Baby formula

·         Cooking oil

·         Rice or quinoa

·         Nutritional supplements

Please remember to check the expiry date. Do not donate food that is more than six months past its best before date.

Thank you for being community-minded.
